The eight rooms in the Casa del Vento are simply furnished with traditional rustic Umbrian furniture. Each has a private bathroom and an individual colour scheme, hence the names Blue, Red, Pink, Sky Blue, Green, Yellow, Cream and Orange.
The Blue Room sleeps two with a twin bed option if preferred. Ingress is via an independent glass door which also sheds natural light onto the room.
back to topThis double room is very popular with couples trying to have a baby. Some of our old clients aver that this particular room aids conception. Clearly, this is difficult to prove, but you never know…
back to topThe Pink Room was formerly the dining room of the Casa del Vento and sleeps two in a double bed. As the name suggests the room is bedecked in pink and adorned with a hand-made bedspread and curtains.
back to topThe Sky Blue Room sleeps two in a double bed.
back to topIn days gone by this used to be Franca and Donatella’s parents’ room. It is the most spacious in the farmhouse and can sleep a maximum of four people. The room comes with a double and bunk bed.
back to topThis was formerly Franca and Donatella’s grandparents’ room. The room’s en-suite bathroom is a little more basic than the others in that the shower stands in the middle of it as was often the case in the few farmhouses that originally had running water.
back to topThis double room was where Franca and Donatella grew up in. As a matter of fact it was in this very room that Franca was born. Years ago home births were commonplace in the country. Like the Yellow Room, the shower is in the middle of its en-suite bathroom as was often the case in the few farmhouses that originally had running water.
back to topThe Orange Room sleeps two, with a twin bed option if preferred.
